A photo excursion over the railroads of the Pacific Northwest as seen through the lens of two of the western United States most famous photographers and historians: Warren McGee and Ron Nixon. This book shows trains at work on mainline roads: Northern Pacific, Great Northern, Milwaukee Road, Spokane, Portland & Seattle, Union Pacific and short lines: Butte, Anaconda & Pacific and Spokane International. It has 262 pages of mostly black and white photos with 25 pages of color photos.
