Warren is a historical treasure, famous for slide shows at the NPRHA conventions. The 2005 Fargo convention was no exception - Warren was one of the highlights. This time we captured Warren's narration on video and have reproduced it on DVD, along with 143 of his best NP-related images. 134 of them are color images over a period from the 1950s through the early 1990s. His descriptions of his thirty-nine-year career on the Northern Pacific and his love of Montana are classic McGee.
With limited eyesight, Warren's recall of facts over his 90+ years is incredible. He recalls dates, mileposts, names, numbers, as if he were reading from a book. But the best part is his ability to add very funny comments along with all the facts, which makes this 153 minute program very entertaining. A booklet containing full captions for all images is included with the DVD.
