Railroad Stations in the Gallatin Area of Montana:
This book discusses the many railroad stations established in the starting with the NP's arrival in Bozeman, Montana, in 1883. It continues with the start of the Montana Railroad, also known as "the Jawbone" in 1895 and chronicles the take over of the Montana Railroad by the Milwaukee in 1910. Finally, I deals with the Union Pacific's branch line into the western entrance to Yellowstone Park from the Oregon Short Line in 1908. The soft-cover book has many black & white photos and some plans for the depots of all the railroads in its 124 pages.
